Compare Indicators

Overlay multiple KRED indicators on a single chart to compare their history side by side.

Search for an indicator above to add it to the chart. Indicators that share the same unit, such as the ACM risk-neutral rate and the Wu-Xia shadow rate, compare most clearly on one scale.

What this page does

The comparison chart overlays several KRED indicators on one time axis. Placing series with the same unit side by side, such as the policy rate and a government bond yield, makes lags and differences in amplitude visible at a glance, and the components of a decomposed yield, such as the term premium and the risk-neutral rate, can be read against the yield they add up to.

The chart draws the full history of each selected indicator on a shared axis, and the navigator below it narrows the window. The address changes with the selection, so a combination can be shared as a link or reopened later.

How to read it carefully

When indicators with different units share one axis, the scale follows one of them and can flatten the movement of the others. The page shows a unit notice in that case, and comparing direction and turning points is safer than comparing levels.

Indicators that estimate the same object by different methods are evidence about the methods rather than about each other, so they are not drawn on one chart. Each indicator's definition, estimation method and limits are explained on its own page.
